To be a great leader, a person needs to have some sort of beliefs or values to which people can get behind on. Sometimes it is rare for leaders to follows those beliefs or values and often failed the public expectation that the people recognize as a person who hold the power to change for the good of the people. And it is unfortunately true that in today’s society, leaders fails to serve the best interest of the public and they would rather change their values for the sake of their image. But, there are some leaders that their values and beliefs can inspire the public to exemplified positivity and to show goodness in our humanity. But, it is impossible to change the mindset of society overnight as the Apartheid movement were able to last for more than three decade within South Africa. Many Apartheid movement also appearing overseas, especially in North America during the period of racial segregation within that time and the prominent figure that inspire by the action of social change from Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr. His words and message give the power to the voiceless and in turn revolutionize the mindset of the coming generation. His effort finally paid off when he is freed from jailed and becoming the President of South Africa.
